Welcome to the webpage of the Solids Processing Group (SPG) which is situated at the Institute of Particle Technology (LFG) at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg! The group,  established in 2018, is headed by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Andreas Bück.

The purpose of these pages is to give an overview of the research activities of the group as well as provide an overview of its capabilities and services offered:

For visitors from academia, we offer a “Research” page, highlighting current projects as well as tools and methods used. We also provide a full list of publications; in case you are interested in some specific manuscripts, do not hesitate to contact Prof. Bück or some group member.

Students will find interesting information and relevant on the “Lectures” page which presents an overview of the lectures and seminars given by the group, as well as the “Positions” page, where interesting topics for M.Sc. and B.Sc. theses and Ph.D. positions are offered.

The Solids Processing Group also offers a variety of services to industry, especially in the areas of process design, optimisation, and consulting/troubleshooting. In case of interest, please get in contact directly with Prof. Bück.
